WebMar 12, 2016 · My nephew was given an old Snap-on FM140A Mig Welder, and he brought it over to my house to have me look at it. I hooked-up a bottle of C25 to it, then tried to weld with it. I maxed out the settings, and tried to weld a couple of pieces of 16ga. together, but the wire hit the metal red hot, and no puddle, just little red wires stacking up on the metal.
