Foam concrete wiki
WebFoam concrete is a kind of porous concrete made by mixing cement paste with foam agent after hardening. Its apparent density and compressive strength are 300 ~ 500 kg/m 3 and 0.5 ~ 0.7 MPa respectively. It can be cast on the site directly, mainly used for the insulating layers of roof boards. WebFoam Concrete (FC) is made by mixing foam into mortar. The mortar is a cement mix with sand and water. As a result you end up with a mix that is lighter than “normal” concrete. The mass, or density as we call it here, (weight per cubic meter) depends on how much foam is added to the mortar.

WebCrystals of platey strätlingite grow in the cementitious matrix of the material including the interfacial zones where cracks would tend to develop. This ongoing crystal formation holds together the mortar and the coarse aggregate, countering crack formation and resulting in a material that has lasted for 1,900 years.
