WebHexes are basically gone, and loads of spells have been removed. This is really the only think I really dislike about DS3 magic. In PvP, most complaints are about how magic is just trash in PvP honestly. DS1 magic had fucking Dark Beads instagibbs, soul arrow spam etc. and was fairly good for pvp. WoG was pretty fucking silly iirc.
